Job Title: Receptionist/HR Coordinator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overseeing the Front Desk operations as well as supporting the administrative needs of the Senior Leadership team and providing HR-related services, including serving as an as information resource for employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers incoming calls and redirects incoming inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Issues security ID badges, including activation and deactivation as necessary.
  • Provides Front Desk support - greeting and logging in all visitors.  
  • Issues Safety and related PPE.
  • Provides administrative support to the Senior Leadership team.
  • Manages conference room scheduling and meeting setups.
  • Coordinates supplies inventory
  • Provides recruiting assistance - screenings, application processing, background investigations, drug screening scheduling and offer letter preparation.
  • New Hire packet preparation.
  • Safety Team member and coordinator of OSHA data logs.
  • Event coordination.
  • Adhoc projects as assigned.

 

*Will perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Certifications, Skills)

• Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent. 
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years progressive human resource experience required. 
• Minimum of 2 years in a unionized manufacturing facility required.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Certifications, Skills)

  • Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or other related field. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment, Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Superior communications skills - both oral and written.
  • Professional discretion - ability to work with confidential information.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work product.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and workload
  • Self-starter
