Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

City:Albion State: ILLINOIS                                                  


 

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Benefits-Maintain company benefit plans and data in the HRIS/payroll and benefits systems. Ensures timely and accurate enrollment of employees in benefits system. Administer the annual enrollment process and as a resource for employees. Acts as a liaison between the company and benefit vendors.

Recruiting-Post and advertising openings and assist in the recruiting process. Check applicant references, extend job offers, initiate new hire paperwork.

Onboarding-Participating in onboarding program for new hires.

HRIS-Administer new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, compensation changes in HRIS system; maintain accuracy and confidentiality.

Performance Management-Administers the employee evaluation process for new hires and annual hourly. Assists with coordinating employee performance evaluation process for new hires and annually; update forms, distribute, and follow up.

Employee Relations/Development- Works with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

Reporting-Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field

Experience:

3+ years of experience in Human Resources

Communication:

Good written and oral communication and listening skills. Ability to explain basic policies and procedures at various levels.

Administration:

Ability to handle multiple, high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail; organized and deadline-oriented.

Must maintain strict confidentiality.

Interpersonal Relations:

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a variety of individuals.

Analytical and Conceptual:

Good analytical skills

Ability to understand regulations and policies and apply these in various situations.

Special Skills:

MS Office Suite
